Ignite TAO: Bend, a high-energy evening of 5-minute tech-related talks by locals, is currently accepting proposals from speakers. The event, scheduled for Thursday, August 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., will feature fun presentations on all things tech-related, including new products, services, research or just generally interesting ideas.

From Ignite TAO:

Ignite TAO: Bend draws a diverse crowd of practitioners, researchers, administrators, entrepreneurs, consultants and business professionals. The promise of new ideas and exciting solutions to difficult problems brings everyone together.

Proposals should include a brief written synopsis of your presentation and a brief bio about yourself. Show and tell something cool you’ve invented or found – no sales pitches please! Challenge us, inspire us, and show us how your idea can transform tech!

Interested in getting the word out about your idea? Like the challenge of public speaking? Want to meet new people? Then pitch your presentation!

To apply:

Proposals should be submitted online by June 29, 2017. Once submitted, your proposal will be reviewed by the Ignite team.  Please include your contact information in case the team has questions about your proposal. Everyone who submits a proposal will be notified on the status of their application by July 10th.
