The Technology Association of Oregon will host its annual tech tour in Bend on Monday, Sept. 17. The unique events offers job hunters, tech enthusiasts and students the chance to tour several of Central Oregon’s tech companies, see what they’re working on, and network with potential employers. The Bend event is part of a statewide week of tech tours, with TAO hosting similar events in Portland, Eugene, Vancouver, and Hood River.

From TAO:

Bend’s Tech Tour will kick off at BendTech – 1001 SW Emkay Drive – on Monday, September 17th at 4:00 pm at and tourists will wind their way through the city to find out what cool technology host companies like are working on, experience their company culture, network with other tourists, and find out about jobs available in the fastest growing industry in Oregon during our second annual event.

Participants can tour the following Bend companies:

Paladin will even be serving pizza from its onsite pizza oven. So that’s probably where I’ll be for the entire event 🙂 The tech tour ends with an After Party at Spoken Moto at 7:00 pm with more networking and prizes.
