Bend Outdoor Worx announced four different funding awards for its upcoming Venture Out Conference, scheduled for Oct. 18th at the Tower Theater in Bend. The conference debuted last year as the first and only funding event for the outdoor industry.

Tech Tours is coming back to Bend this year. The event — literally a tour of various Bend tech companies plus tacos, beer and an after party — is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 19.
The Bend Fall Festival is considering having a section of booths dedicated to local startups. Jim Kone, who is organizing the Bend Business Showcase portion of the festival, reached out to see if we knew of any interested startups. He has room for eight, and he’d offer the booths to startup founders for $150 for the weekend, which is Oct. 7th and 8th.
